Circle Allies are community members who want to be in a supportive, intentional befriending relationship with an individual or family enrolled in the Circles program.
Allies are trained volunteers working to move communities into economic stability through support, collaboration, and advocacy. They also provide support for the Circle Leader in achieving his or her goals, while taking into account that individual’s personal needs. An Ally’s main commitment is to meet at least twice a month for 18 months with their Circle Leader. Allies and Circle Leaders can continue their relationship for as long as they like, even after the leader has achieved economic stability.
“When you join a Circle, you are embarking on a miraculous journey. Give of yourself and you will be amazed at the outcome.” Angie – an ally from Columbus, GA
